Crunchy Avocado Toast

Avocado Toast Recipe (makes one slice):

  • 3/4″ thick slice of sourdough bread
  • 2 Tbsp hummus
  • 1/4 medium avocado
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp watermelon seeds (Go Raw ‘Sprouted Watermelon Seeds’)
  • chipotle chili flakes, as desired

Toast the slice of sourdough bread on a cast-iron pan on medium to high heat, about 3 minutes on each side. Remove from heat onto a plate. Spread an even layer of hummus onto the face of the toast. Thinly slice the avocado in its shell and remove the slices by gently scooping them out with a spoon. Lay the slices flat on the toast, spanning the entire face. Sprinkle the turmeric, cumin, sesame and watermelon seeds evenly on top of the avocado slices. Add chili flakes as desired. Enjoy!
